The Well House is an amazing thatch and stone cottage sleeping 13 people comfortably in 7 bedrooms. The property was originally three cottages and is thought to be some 400 years old.  Occupied by the sculptress Elizabeth Muntz from the 1930-70s, there is artistic and travel related influence throughout this charming  residence.

For the modernist there is central heating throughout, Aga and induction hob, while for the more traditional there is a log burner in a huge inglenook fireplace in an incredible vaulted room.  It has two  double bedrooms on the ground floor which is ideal for elderly guests as it is complemented  by a downstairs WC and washbasin and showers. The outside garden is large and has its own fenced BBQ area.

The cottage is ideal for people wishing to be near the coast,  for walks, and is also near our great local pub - the Salior's Return.. It is often used for family re-unions.  This cottage is the perfect blend of character and comfort.  There is space to park 5 cars on the driveway to the side of the house and a beautiful garden.  The nearest shop is one mile; nearest pub 200 yards (a fantastic family friendly and dog friendly  local pub called the Sailors Return) which serves great  meals and local beers.
